Sean McInerney Eagle Project
March 3rd, 2018
Dear family, friends, and community members,
Hello, my name is Sean McInerney and I am a member of East Moriches Boy Scout Troop 29. I am currently working towards my Eagle Project. My project, dubbed Operation Little Flower, consists of building two vegetable planters and a bench to be donated to Little Flower Children’s Services.
The project will provide an opportunity for the children of Little Flower to have a hands on learning experience about the life cycles of plants, grow their own vegetables, as well as providing a peaceful place of solitude to sit and relax.
To complete this project I am asking for contributions in the form of gift cards from Home Depot or Lowes, or Visa/Mastercard gift cards in order to purchase the $1,000 in building materials needed to do this project. I will be also accepting contributions of bagged soil, vegetable seeds, work gloves, heavy duty garbage bags, and safety goggles. Contributions can be arranged for pick up, or sent via US Mail by April 3, 2018 to address sent below. You can call or text me at (631) 394-8291.

**UPDATE**
Hello fellow scouts.
The time has come for my Eagle project. I am planning for it to start on May 5th. We will be building one bench along with two planters for Little Flower Children Services.
I am looking for volunteers to help with the project. If you are able, please let me know by May third if you can come out on the 5th. This is because I need to have a list of those attending. Exact times are to be announced.
Thanks in advance.
**UPDATE**
I just wanted to give a shoutout to and say thank you to Kellen Meade, Anthony Lopresti, Chris Gill, Mr. Gesswein, and Matthew Burzynski (from Troop 138) for attending my Eagle Project. We all did an amazing job thanks to all your help. Thank you to all those who donated. Without you guys this great work couldn’t have been done. Thank you all so much.
