DESCRIPTION:We will be going to Camp Yawgoog on August 9th – August 16th. \nWe held a Yawgoog parent meeting at the firehouse on July 21st.  The purpose of this meeting is to provide a transfer of information to you about what scout needs to bring\, what to expect\, when and where we will meet for Yawgoog. If you were unable to attend\, please download and review the Yawgoog Parent Guide that was handed out at that meeting. \nVisit http://www.yawgoog.com/ for more information about Camp Yawgoog. \n\nOUR SCHEDULE: \nSaturday\, August 8th at 6:30PM – East Moriches Fire Dept\nAll bins will be loaded in a trailer – adult leader’s vehicles/space will be maximized with transporting scouts and other supplies.  If you cannot make this event\, please email or call me to make arrangements to have your bin dropped off prior to this day. \nSunday\, August 9th at 10:00AM – Formation in Class A Uniform – EMFD\nPlease make sure prior going to Yawgoog\, your Class A uniform is fully up to date and have the proper neckerchief\, slide\, hat\, and all patches are properly sewed on the uniform correctly.  Please make sure your scout has several pairs of scout uniform socks as well. \nAll medications have to be in a ziploc bag with the scouts name and my name written properly on them. These will be turned over to me upon arrival and then back to the scout after we check in at camp. \nPlease pack a bag lunch for the ferry or bring money to purchase lunch on the ferry. \nAs a reminder\, Yawgoog has a no cell phone policy for Boy Scouts.  You can follow the troops activities on our twitter account @emotroop29. \nSunday\, August 16th – Family BBQ at Yawgoog (Optional)\nThere is an optional family BBQ at Yawgoog for any families that wish to go up for this event.  If you are interested\, please visits Yawgoog’s website and purchase a ticket.  If you plan on driving your son home from Yawgoog\, please notify me so I can adjust the headcount.  The troop will not pay for scouts who return home with their families. \nSunday\, August 16th – Return to East Moriches FD – 4:00 PM\nScouts will not be dismissed until all trailers/vehicles are unpacked\, cleaned and equipment/gear is put away.

DESCRIPTION:Fish on Fishing is a Party Boat that runs our of Windswept Marina in East Moriches\, NY.  We will be fishing for Fluke on Friday June 26th from 4:30PM to 9PM. DESCRIPTION:We will be meeting at the East Moriches Elementary School parking lot at 9am on April 18. For those scouts that have not attending a cleanup to date\, please make every effort to participate. We all have busy schedules. Many hands make light work! \n \nPlease bring gloves\, a garbage bag\, and any tools that could come in handy. Some kids bring a pick\, or a garbage grabber and it does all help.
