DESCRIPTION:We have a reservation at the Bechtel Summit Located in West Virginia from July 10th – July 16th 2016.  Boys who are 13 years old on or before September 1st 2016 are eligible to go. \nIf you plan on going\, we need a $100 deposit to be paid by June 28th 2015.  The total cost of the trip should be just under $1000 depending on the Amtrak train fare to the Summit.  Please visit our troop store and register for this event.  The first 15 boys who sign up for this will be going and 4 spots have already been sold. \nWe will be doing the Summit Experience program and more info on this exciting event can be found here.

DESCRIPTION:THE SUMMIT EXPERIENCE HIGH ADVENTURE PROGRAM\nThis is a seven-day/six night program running Sunday July 10th to Saturday July 16th. It consists of half-day introductory level experiences at each of the nine Summit high adventure venues. \nIn addition\, each group will perform a half-day service project and have the chance to ride The Big Zip – our 3⁄4 mile zip line.In addition\, each night (Monday-Friday)\, we will open the Scott Summit Center for activities\, fun and socializing. The Scout Summit Center incorporates small versions of our adventure sports venues. \nDETAILS\nThe Summit Experience is open to registered Scouts and Venturers who are at least 13 years old by the September 1\, 2016 and their registered leaders. \nThe Summit provides tents\, cots and all program equipment for the Troop. Breakfast and dinner will be served in the Summit dining hall. Shelf-stable lunches will be issued to accompany participants to their daily program venues.
