Calverton National Cemetery – 9:30 AM
Class A Uniform Mandatory

CLASS A UNIFORM consists of:

• Scout shirt from Council and all appropriate patches.
• Olive green pants/shorts/switchbacks. BSA short/pants are recommended    but not mandatory.   Jeans are not part of the CLASS A UNIFORM.
• Scout Belt
• Scout socks or green hiking socks when shorts are worn.
•  Shoes, hiking boots or work boots. Sneakers are NOT permitted at Courts of Honor, Eagle Court of Honor or Ceremonies.
• Merit Badge Sash is optional
• Troop 29 Neckerchief
• Troop 29 Hat
• Neckerchief slide

The event begins on May 26th at 9:30AM when we will place U.S. Gravesite Flags at each grave to recognize and honor our military men and women. Units are expected to return the following Saturday, June 2nd, at 9:30a.m. to remove the flags and place them in bundles for storage for the following year. 

WHEN: May 26th, 2018 Rain or Shine

WHERE: Calverton National Cemetery

TIME: 9:30am (arrive early to avoid traffic)

OTHER: Short ceremony shortly after flag placement that all scouts and families are invited to and enjoy refreshments.
